OUR STORY
A small Swiss studio, four devices, and the wish that something this useful could feel beautiful too.
Albelys started with a confession: most at-home skincare devices look like medical equipment that wandered into the wrong room. Plastic, blinking lights, fonts pulled from a 2005 dental clinic. We wanted something we'd actually want to leave on a shelf.
We build one device, made to our specification by a manufacturer that has been producing LED skincare devices for years. It is designed around the two wavelengths the cosmetic LED literature keeps coming back to: 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. We declined the temptation to chase eight wavelengths nobody can pronounce — the warm half of the spectrum is the half that gets studied, and the half that feels good on your face.
The brand is a reaction, too. We were tired of skincare written like an investor pitch — clinically proven, dermatologist-approved, FDA-cleared. We are not a medical company. We make a small device that produces warm light, and we tell you what we know about it without overselling.
If Albelys finds a place in your evenings — between the candle, the music, and the moment before bed — that is enough.
