Swiss law gives consumers no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. We grant one anyway, voluntarily and in writing, because you should be able to change your mind about something you bought without holding it first.
Your right
You may withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days of receiving the device, without giving a reason, provided the box is unopened and the hygiene seal is intact.
When the period starts
The fourteen days begin on the day you — or a person you nominate, other than the carrier — take physical possession of the device. Sending your declaration on the fourteenth day is enough; it does not have to reach us by then.
How to withdraw
Send us a clear statement by email to hello@albelys.ch — a sentence is enough. Include your order number and the name on the order. There is no form to fill in and no reason to give.
We will confirm receipt in writing and send you the return address.
Model wording
“I hereby withdraw from my contract for the purchase of the following goods: Albelys Mask. Ordered on [date], received on [date]. Order number [number]. Name [name].”
Sending it back
Return the device within fourteen days of your declaration, in its unopened original packaging, with the hygiene seal intact. Return postage is at your cost. We recommend a tracked service — until the parcel reaches us, the risk of loss stays with you.
Your refund
We refund the full purchase price within fourteen days of receiving the returned device, using the same payment method you used, at no charge to you. Because delivery within Switzerland is free, there are no delivery costs to reimburse.
The one exclusion
A device whose hygiene seal has been broken cannot be withdrawn for change of mind. The mask is worn directly against the face; once opened it cannot be resold to anyone else, and we will not pretend otherwise by reselling it. This exclusion mirrors the health-and-hygiene exception recognised in EU distance-selling law and is stated here before you buy, not after.
This does not affect faulty devices
Withdrawal and defects are separate things. A device that arrives damaged or fails through a manufacturing defect is replaced at our cost, sealed or not, inside the withdrawal period or well outside it. See Warranty for the two-year statutory term under Art. 197 ff. of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
